"The Waste Land" by T.S.Eliot

Respected Sir, Here is my views about "The Waste land" 1)                 Yes, we can say that Eliot is more regressive as compared to Nietzche’s views. Because, Eliot tries to find out the solution from different religion of the past. Whereas Nietzche’s concept of superman is more of contemporary time. Eliot was able to see the rottenness around him of 20th century. If we say that this rottenness was only in the 20th century, then at some extent we are wrong because Eliot has used myths to prove his views, and myths are from past, which means this was also there in the past also. Structuralism and Literary Criticism

Structuralism and Literary Criticism                                                                   structuralism emphasizes how flims convey meaning through use of codes and conventions. Film often convey message through the sequence of shots. In film, we are able to move between iconic, symbolic and indexical levels which allows us to process meaning on a much deeper level.                                                                                   Ishaqzaade presented the passionate love story of two different religion and rebellious individuals. The Chauhans and the Qureshis are two political families whose rivalry and matual hatred for one another goes back generations. Parma is a good for nothing local enforcer, grandson of the patriarch Chauvinist and Zoya his beloved, who is an only daughter in a traditional muslim family. But their families never allows they to love each other or to marry.
